Information We Collect

When you create or use a Gondu account, we may collect:

• Your name
• Phone number and/or email
• Profile photo
• National ID number
• Front photo of your National ID for verification
• Your listings and item photos
• The island/location you select for your item

We do not require your home address or live GPS location. Any location shown on a listing refers to the location of the item, as selected by the seller.

ID Verification

To become verified, we may ask you to upload the front side of your National ID card.

Your ID photo is only used to complete the verification process. Once your account has been successfully verified, the uploaded ID photo will be automatically deleted within 24 hours.

After verification, we may keep your:

• National ID number
• Verification status
• Verification date

This information is kept privately for verification, account safety and fraud-prevention purposes.

Your National ID number and ID photo are never shown publicly on your Gondu profile or listings.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Verify your identity
• Display and manage your listings
• Provide customer support
• Review reports or suspicious activity
• Improve the safety and operation of Gondu

What Other Users Can See

Depending on your account and listings, other users may see information such as your:

• Name or profile name
• Profile photo
• Listings
• Item photos
• Item location
• Verification badge

Your National ID number and verification information remain private.

Sharing Your Information

Gondu does not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that are necessary to operate Gondu or when we are required to do so by applicable law or a lawful request from the relevant authorities.

If a user reports a scam or other serious misuse, Gondu may review and preserve relevant account and listing information.

We will not normally provide another user with your private National ID number or verification information because of a buyer-and-seller dispute.

Your Information

You can update your profile details in Account settings, or delete your account from the same page.

If you delete your account, we remove your profile, listings that are not tied to an order, saved items and messages. Completed orders may be kept with a deleted-user label where needed for records, disputes or legal requirements.

We may keep limited information where reasonably necessary for verification, fraud prevention, safety matters, disputes or legal requirements.
